Blank Page Art Club, April 13 (Monday, After Classes)

Katchoo looked like she wasn't hung over, but really, really wanted to be.

"'kay," she said over the racket that was Clocky screeching while Morgana roared and chased it, "today really isn't the day for stuff that involves, y'know, X-Acto knives and things and geez, Morgana, keep it down for a minute, will ya?"

She sighed and gestured at the tables. "Sculpey and Play-Doh over there, crayons and the cheesy kind of watercolors there, tempera paint if you really wanna get messy but I'm not cleaning it up for you, got it?"

That said, she got up and headed into the corner to try and wrangle Morgana, who'd gotten hold of an 18-inch ruler and was brandishing it at Clocky. "Stop! I COMMAND you to COME BACK HERE!" Morgana was yelling while Clocky hid behind a cabinet.

". . . yeah," Katchoo said. "Have fun, people."

Claire got Talia settled with the paints before she looked up. "Please tell me everything is ready for Art Crawl" -- tiny fistpump -- "Wednesday and Thursday."

"Art Crawl!" Clarence called out from across the room, pumping his fist.

"I talked to Chad," Angela said. "He's up for doing some DJ-ing for it."

"ART CRAWL!" Morgana stopped to bellow from the other side of the room, complete with emphatic fistpump and heroic posture.

"We should be all good for something with drama," Cal reported dutifully.

Talia pouted a little at being fended off with cheesy watercolors -- she wasn't a baby -- but started painting a portrait of her extended family.

It wasn't half-bad, actually.

Wendy decided to play it safe for the moment and just picked up her sketchbook and a pencil.

The other Watson in the room however, was eyeing the tempera paints with a gleam in his eye while he laid out a large sheet of butchers paper on the floor...

If Kendal was anything like her mother, art supplies should be able to keep the kid entertained. Or, Angela hoped that was the case, anyway. It was entirely possible she'd picked up her dad's lack of artistic leanings. Still, worth a try.

She set the girl up with a whole bunch of play-doh and hoped for the best.

Trevor sat down with some paper and crayons, Liz hoped that it would keep him occupied but considering with the way things were going it would probably only be enough to last five to ten seconds.

What a surprise, Paul was a little artist extraordinaire, getting heavily involved in what he was working on with an incredible focus. The style mostly took after his mother, with the exception of his father's biggest trait in visual art: lots and lots of red, and a tendency to slip into the mythological.

It really didn't seem that weird to have so many kids around. Then again, Harper was just a big kid herself.

Peyton had set up the three Winchesters with some art supplies and settled down to do a little sketching of her own. It was easiest to sketch Cas, who was happy to stay still for short periods of time, and Sammi, who was so intent on her own drawing that Peyton thought it probably would have taken a nuclear explosion to distract her.

John William wasn't as happy to be here, but Peyton had convinced him she could use his help watching out for his little brother and sister and that Dean could use a little break. And family was family - even if he still wasn't sure about the lady he'd found his dad with.

"How much longer are we here?" he asked with a small sigh.

Peyton smiled at him. "Not too long. And maybe we can grab pizza or something to bring back for dinner. And yes, pie, of course."

She was there and looking like she really wanted to take a nap.

"Mom," Paul announced, "Dad made me do his work all day at the library."

Clearly, he felt that she should do something about this.
