Blank Page Art Club, April 13 (Monday, After Classes)

Katchoo looked like she wasn't hung over, but really, really wanted to be.

"'kay," she said over the racket that was Clocky screeching while Morgana roared and chased it, "today really isn't the day for stuff that involves, y'know, X-Acto knives and things and geez, Morgana, keep it down for a minute, will ya?"

She sighed and gestured at the tables. "Sculpey and Play-Doh over there, crayons and the cheesy kind of watercolors there, tempera paint if you really wanna get messy but I'm not cleaning it up for you, got it?"

That said, she got up and headed into the corner to try and wrangle Morgana, who'd gotten hold of an 18-inch ruler and was brandishing it at Clocky. "Stop! I COMMAND you to COME BACK HERE!" Morgana was yelling while Clocky hid behind a cabinet.

". . . yeah," Katchoo said. "Have fun, people."

"Glad you're enjoying them, Cas," Peyton said, ruffling his hair. "I'm glad you guys all came with me."

John William was watching her sketch. "Those look just like them," he said, his brow wrinkled. "Can I look at some of your other pictures?"

She handed over her sketchbook and watched as he looked through it, enjoying the expression on his face.

"These are cool," he said, lingering over one of Dean.

"You can have that if you want," she said. "And the one of Cas and Sammi if you'd like.

He hesitated, clearly wanting to say yes, but unsure.

Peyton took the book back and carefully pulled them out, signed them and handed them to him.

Cas was watching this carefully. "Can I have some too?" he asked.

Peyton nodded. "Sure. And if you can talk John William into letting me sketch him I'll give you one of him too."

"John William?" Cas said, eyes full of hope.

He rolled his eyes. "It's awfully girly."

Peyton shrugged. "Might be a nice thing to do for your brother and sister, though."

John William sighed, secretly glad of an excuse to give in. "Well... okay."

Cas cheered, which actually got Sammi to look up. "What? Are we going? I'm not done yet!"

"Not quite yet," Peyton said. "You've got time to finish your drawing, sweetie."

Sammi nodded and went back to ignoring the world as she drew.

Peyton quickly did several more sketches, including one of the three of them she thought Dean might like to have, and even John William seemed to not mind the rest of the time they spent there.

Eventually, though, she gathered them together, cleaned them up (Cas really did love those fingerpaints!), and they headed out.
