Zero sits behind the collection's desk, back to the door, with her feet up on a table. She has headphones on, at a volume audible from outside the library, and is working on her laptop. Good luck getting her attention. Anyone entering the library would see that she is on CafePress.

On the table next to her is a large plate of chocolate chip cookies, with a sign: LIBRARY STAFF ONLY (and Hank).

"No, no, no! Zero, *listen* to me. He admitted he was up to something. Admitted that he's got some kind of plan. If he's left evil behind him, then I'm not wearing Prada."

Parker takes a long breath, rubbing her temples. "*Marty* was only 'evil' for what? Two years? Angelus has been a whack-job for over two hundred. Don't tell me there's no difference there. And why, c'mon, tell me: *why* is he here? Why would he be in high school after all that time?"

*blink* Well he's not very good at bein' evil, is he, if he's admittin' to his evil plans.

Look, I really don' think with you watchin' him like a hawk he'll get much evilage done. But if his evil plan is to make you stress yourself into an early grave, congratulations, you're goin' right along with it. You have got to calm down.

If it will make you any happier, I'll talk to him tomorrow. I've been nothin' but nice to him, an' he's been nothin' but nice to me.

Parker made a sound like "gaaaaaaah" and thumped her head on the library counter.

"Okay. Okay. Chilling. Calming. Mellowing. This was just-- the wrong week to quit smoking. Obviously." She straightened up.

"God, talk to him? About? And if you do, please do so where you can be rescued by Rover. Givin' me a heart attack...."
