Library [03/18]

After the food fight in class and the cereal raining from the sky, Sam was very happy to be able to go outside and not end up covered in food.

This feeling lasted right up to the point where he spilled his coffee on himself getting into the library.

Luckily, Sam had a t-shirt on underneath his longer shirt, so he was only feeling a little embarrassed when he finally got settled in at the desk. If anyone asked him why he was under-dressed, well, he'd come up with a better story then.

"Much better now," Sam said. "How are you?"

"Better too," Peter agreed. He leaned across the counter to give Sam a kiss.

Sam made a pleased noise and kissed Peter back. "Mmmm, my favorite part of the day."

"Mine too," Peter said. He pulled back enough to smile at Sam, which allowed him to register what Sam was wearing. "Not that I'm complaining but aren't you underdressed?"

"Yeah," Sam said sheepishly. "I ended up wearing my coffee this morning, which means I'm even more grateful for your visit."

"That sucks," Peter said. "Want me to grab something from your room?"

"No, because that would mean you leaving, and I don't want that."

"We could find some other way to keep you warm," Peter said, grinning.

"The kissing is definitely helping," Sam replied. "I'm sure the coffee will too, although it's not quite as good."

"I don't think you can drink and kiss at the same time either," Peter pointed out.

"No, because then you'd end up with coffee all over you too," Sam said. "They're definitely separate activities."

"Chocolate could be okay," Peter said. "Then getting it off is fun."

Sam grinned, and blushed a little as his mind wandered into some mental images. "You're giving me ideas," he said. "Stop that."

"Isn't giving you ideas my job?" Peter asked.

"Your job is to give me ideas when we're alone," Sam said. "Not when we're out of the confines of my room and I can't do anything about them."

"Fair point," Peter said. "Though that means I'll have to come by your room later."

"You'd better," Sam said. "If you don't, I'll have to find you and bring you there myself."

"Yeah, that'd be... awful," Peter said, enjoying some nice images of his own now.

"Terrible," Sam said, blushing harder as he got quieter. "Especially if you, I don't know, resisted or anything."

"So you'd have to put more effort in," Peter said, keeping his voice neutral to see what Sam's reaction might be.

Sam thought about that for a minute, and found himself grinning more. "Yeah, I guess I would," he said. "I mean, unless you'd actually found something else to do, or you really didn't want to come with me, or anything like that."

"I can promise that being with you is always something I want to do," Peter told him.

"Even if you've already been with me for a while?" Sam teased.

"I just want more," Peter said. "What can I say? I'm greedy."

"I think in this case, that's not such a bad thing," Sam said with a grin. "I might even have to encourage it."
