There'd been a marathon of disaster movies on late Thursday night. It was as if cable television thought the world was going to end and the audiences needed to be prepared. Which led to Ronon's selection of film clips for this week's class. He was mostly amused because it was so rare in Pegasus for a world to be destroyed by something other than Wraith invasion. Or McKay.

Once students had assembled in the Danger Shop-turned movie auditorium, he began his 'lecture.' "A decade ago, movie makers seemed pretty sure Earth was gettin' destroyed by a giant meteor or comet." He played the infamous scene of destruction to prove his point. "That was ~~meta for~~ Deep Impact. Today, we're gonna watch ~~meta for~~ Armageddon and talk about suspension of disbelief." Wikipedia was becoming Ronon's friend for this movie analysis stuff. "So, do you accept the premise and science of the movie and enjoy it without delving deep or do you rip it up by thinkin' too much and ruin the ~~unrealistic~~ special effects for everyone else? Let's watch."

"Exclusively just us," she confirmed, laughing and using one hand to shield herself from falling popcorn.

It was still a little strange to think of, after so long with their relationship as it had been.

Dinah carefully TK'd the bowl to Angela so she could have some that hadn't fallen through the air, and grinned. "Yay. I need to meet him, sometime. I hear about him so much on the Radio, I almost think I know him, but it's not the same. Are you guys doing anything fun this weekend, or celebrating?"

Angela shook her head as she snagged some popcorn. "Nothing planned, but I'm sure we'll figure something out."

"And you should definitely meet him," she said, popping popcorn into her mouth. "Kind of surprised you haven't already. Hannibal's hardly the shy type."

"Come to think of it, he's in my TV Shows class, we just haven't talked during that," Dinah realized. "And he's up on 5th with you, so I never just run into him. Maybe I'll snag him for group work in class soon, and say hi, yay, you're dating Angela, she's awesome."

Angela laughed, and nodded at that. "You do that, sweetie."

"Do you have any big plans for your weekend?" she asked in return.

She so would, too. "Edward and I are practicing with swords tomorrow morning. And probably Fight Club again, Sunday night. But otherwise, nope. Maybe I'll hit the pool. I'm still missing the cruise off and on."

"Oh, so am I," Angela agreed with feeling. "But I'm more tempted by the Onsen."

"The what-sen?" Dinah asked, curious.

"Onsen," she repeated. "It's like this hot tub thing, out in town. It's looovely."

"Oooooooooo!" Dinah could totally get into that. "That sounds really great. Better than the pool, even. You have to tell me where that is, so I can visit there maybe."

"I can take you sometime, if you want?" Angela offered. She was hardly going to miss out on the chance for hot tub time, really now.

"Thank you, yes! Awesome!" Dinah did a little chair dance, and TK'd the popcorn back to herself, grinning. "I don't have anything on Wednesdays or Thursdays. Or this weekend after swords, either. So just give me a call when you're headed there."

"I have one class on Thursdays," Angela said. "But after that, I'll be free for that sort of thing. We could go up there sometime in the afternoon?"

"Yay! Sure." Dinah gave her a pleased smile. "Now I'm glad I got a new suit for the Caribbean trip."

"Who knew it would even come in handy back here, when it's all but snowing outside?" she said, smiling at Dinah.
