Library [03/11]

After yesterday, Sam was seriously hoping for a quiet day in the library. Thanks to the radio, he was expecting the crabs, but the palm trees were a very pleasant surprise, and it took a lot less time than usual for Sam to feel settled in behind the desk.

"A guy's gotta eat," Dean said defensively. "I'll go out after lunch. Besides," he gave Sam a hopeful look, "thought you might want to tag along after your library shift."

Sam was still a little tired from yesterday, but since Dean hadn't brought up the topic of him getting his ass kicked, Sam realized it was possible he didn't know, and helping Dean with the harpies might keep it that way. "Yeah, I'll tag along," he said. "We can try to outnumber them."
