Into the Black Flight Club meeting (Tuesday evening)

Anakin and Padmé sat on the ramp of Padmé's ship. The smell of the pizza ordered for the Flight Club's first meeting wafted out and caused Anakin's stomach to rumble.

He practically vibrated with energy. Could be the possibility of flying again. Could be the excuse to spend more time with the Senator. Either way, he's in a fantastic mood.

Beka looks around for Shep or anyone she recognizes. She sees Lee and Anakin and waves, but then goes to take a closer look at the ship.

She doesn't see Padme, but in case she's around, she says, "Would you mind if I touch her? She's beautiful."

::sneaks up behind Beka::

You talkin' about me, or the ship? ::giggle::

She sticks her tongue out at Cally. "The ship. You're supremely cute, but right now? All eyes for the beautiful lady here." Her focus shifts to the ship.

Fine, fine... I know when I'm not wanted... ::attempts to pout, but only smiles:

[ooc: sadly, night class beckons. gone for possibly 4 hours.]

"You're wanted. But I can see you anytime. You're a spannerhead. You know how to love a ship. I know you do." She smiles.

I'm the spannerhead. The only purebreed one we have... the others are all fake pilot/mechanics. They don't count... ::laugh::

And yeah... she's really sleek... But if I give in to my urge of stripping out the engine and trying to put it back, I think Annie might kill me.

"Keep calling him Annie and he may kill you for that." She winks.

"OMG, An. She's gorgeous. I've never seen such clean lines." She tilted her head, listening, loving, as she ran her hand over the hull. "Maybe the old Commonwealth slipfighters, but those are practically legends."

She looked at him, speaking softly. "You've flown her?"

"With enough speed, you don't need weapons. Or if the pilot's smart." She smiled and moved for a closer look at the engines. "I bet she handles like a dream with those engines. Even without friction, there's just something about a ship like her that says she loves the black."
