The Elements of Friendship, Thursday, Period 3

When the students came to class today, they'd find themselves in the center of a large, rustic town square, surrounded mostly by thatched-roofed, Elizabethan style houses, with the occasional giant tree house and carousel shaped shop thrown in for spice. The town square was host today of a delightful little pony farmer's market, at the center of which sat an apple cart, where Pinkie was poised, munching happily on a bright, shiny red apple.

Juicy!

Once all the students arrived, Pinkie tossed the last of her apple into the air and crunched it down, core, seeds, and all. She licked her lips with an enormous swirl of her tongue, then grinned at the students.

"Hi, everypony! Welcome to Ponyville! This is where I'm from! It's the best little town in all of Equestria, because it's where me and all my friends live, and we're Princess Celestia's favorites! So that totally means we're the best!" She nodded firmly. "When things go wrong in Equestria, we're the ponies the princess turns to, because we all understand the magic of friendship!" Holy crap, was today's class actually going to be on topic? "Which is why she's asked me to ask you all to find her missing pet, Philomeena!" Pinkie held up a wanted poster, showing a very strange, sad looking bird. "She disappeared from our welcoming party, and Princess Celestia is oh-so-very worried about her. You'll have to team up to search for her!"

Wow, teamwork and friendship, all in one class? Pinkie better be careful, or someone will expect her to manage to be this focused every week.

"Let's make sure we can get Philomeena back to the Princess safe and sound! Good luck!"

Something crashed horribly at the other ends of the square, sending up a cloud of dust. Pinkie's smile never wavered.

"You're going to neeeeeeeeeeeed iiiiiiiiiiiiiit," Pinkie sang, then ducked out of sight.

Library, Thursday [02/09]

For once, Billy didn't have anything he needed to do during his library shift, so he'd decided to spend his time wandering through the stacks, seeing if anything was out of place, and looking for books that jumped out at him to be read.

Figuratively, of course. At least, he was hoping.

Life of the Sea, Thursday, Period 2

Today, her students would find a DVD player set up in the front of the room.

Summer had some moddable snacks and drinks set out for them.

"I thought today, we could watch the meta for Finding Nemo. Next week, we'll get back on topic with types of fish and their habitats."

Superheroing 101, Thursday, Period 4

Another week, another class. It was sort of horrifying how Electroclash was finding herself falling into a routine with this thing. Wasn't she supposed to hate it with all her heart and soul?

Eh. The SPA instructions were still a pain in the arse, at least. And she was having to consult them anyway. "Our esteemed friends at the Super Powers Authority," she drawled, once everyone had come in, "have decided to divide this class into ––" Finger quotes. "–– 'thematic subcategories' because that's supposed to make you brats find it easier to learn or something." She wasn't sure if it was working but hey, she didn't care! "So, what your thick skulls are supposed to have learned up until now is superhero basics. Names, costumes, teaming up, all that exhilaratingly fun stuff. Now, we're gonna move on to what I consider to be the most important section of this course, and that's superhero problems."

Of which there were many. Though some of them may have only been problems in her view, but then wasn't encouraging healthy debate supposed to be a good thing for young learners, or some shit like that?

Electroclash leaned back in her chair and mourned not being able to prop her be-gogo-booted feet up on the desk for fear of flashing minors. "And we're going to start off easy because I don't feel like doing a lot of work today." What a surprise. "So, I want you lot to tell me what you think might be some basic superhero problems. And if you get it wrong I will laugh at you but it probably won't affect your grade, so don't worry, suck-ups." She pointed to a student at random. "You. Go first."
