For Movie Appreciation, the Danger Shop was transformed into the usual auditorium with a strange new twist. There was a giant pool of icy water off to the side with floating slabs of driftwood strewn about.

Ronon sat on the edge of the stage, waiting for students to take their seats before introducing the day's movie. "I'm told for people from the right time, Titanic is a classic romance. I watched it, and I gotta tell you, if that's romance, Earth is screwed." For serious. "So this guy falls for some girl and shows her how to live or something. Then the boat they're on gets hit by a block of ice and sinks. Now, I know, spoilers or something are bad? Whatever, if I tell you everyone ends up in icy water like that," he pointed to the tank, "you tell me how many people live or die."

"Right, so let's ~~suffer through Celine~~ watch some parts of it and get a feel for this movie before you guys stick yourselves in the water and decide if the chick could've made some space for that guy on her plank. Still think it's true love and romance?" He flicked a switch on the remote and started up the clips.

"Oh wow," Dinah said, handing her three, completely chagrinned. "It came out when I was six! It's on TV all the time. I'm so sorry!"

Because the first time is *always* the worst. Those little kids with their mom...

Dinah hadn't been wearing mascara, that's how she almost looks normal.

"I'm from 1991," Claudia explained.

Dinah facepalmed. "I even knew that. Sorry?" She wiped at the corners of her eyes. "Even though I kind of agree with Mr. Dex. It should've had a better ending."

"There's totally enough room on that stupid raft," Claudia declared. "Or she should've stayed on the first boat!"

"He totally could have gotten away by himself once she unlocked those handcuffs," Dinah agreed. "If he hadn't had to worry about her throwing herself back on the boat!"

"Exactly!" Claudia said. "Of course, if they hadn't hit the stupid block of ice, all of those pretty clothes wouldn't have gotten wet to start with."

"They really were pretty. Especially that last dress." No, Dinah is not tearing up again. Shush. "After she was dead."

"Yes!" Claudia said. "Though if I were her husband, I'd be a little upset that I didn't get to be with her in fancy boat heaven."

She tapped her fingers. "I have a date tonight, but it's to the movies, so a dress like that would be too much, huh?"

Dinah had to nod regretfully. "Unless it's one of those fancy old-time theatres, I'd think yeah. I mean, you know how messy movie theaters can get. Old soda. Old popcorn. Eugh. You could ruin something like that without even knowing it." She remembered part of what she'd heard on the Radio, and gave Claudia a hopeful look. "Who's the date with?"

"It's a horror film, too," Claudia said, "so I was thinking jeans and a cute shirt anyway. And awesome shoes. And earrings. And a belt. There was going to be a beret but the hat yesterday makes that just too samey-samey, you know?" She grinned. "It's with Priestly."

"Earrings are important," because really, Dinah knows she personally dresses a little dorky, but earrings are safe to go crazy with. Not that Claudia has to worry, really. "Jeans are good for the movies though."

She beamed when Claudia mentioned Priestly. "Yay! He's like one of my very favorite guys here! He so should be dating someone cool!" And not confused and mixed-signally like Amber. Even if she was nice.

"I have these great acid-washed pair that I picked up in New York about a month ago ~~that seem to be back in style again, wtf~~ that I haven't painted on yet," Claudia said with a smile. "They make my butt look awesome."

"And he's one of my favorite guys here, too," she added. "So that works out nicely, huh?"

"Perfectly," Dinah said, grinning. "Horror film, hunh?" Because it's not like that's a movie for just watching. "I hope you guys have a good time."

"It should be a lot of fun," Claudia said. "Cute guy, reason to cling to his arm...junk food...what's not to like?"
