For Movie Appreciation, the Danger Shop was transformed into the usual auditorium with a strange new twist. There was a giant pool of icy water off to the side with floating slabs of driftwood strewn about.

Ronon sat on the edge of the stage, waiting for students to take their seats before introducing the day's movie. "I'm told for people from the right time, Titanic is a classic romance. I watched it, and I gotta tell you, if that's romance, Earth is screwed." For serious. "So this guy falls for some girl and shows her how to live or something. Then the boat they're on gets hit by a block of ice and sinks. Now, I know, spoilers or something are bad? Whatever, if I tell you everyone ends up in icy water like that," he pointed to the tank, "you tell me how many people live or die."

"Right, so let's ~~suffer through Celine~~ watch some parts of it and get a feel for this movie before you guys stick yourselves in the water and decide if the chick could've made some space for that guy on her plank. Still think it's true love and romance?" He flicked a switch on the remote and started up the clips.

Angela nodded, sitting back in her seat. "I prefer my films with more of a feel-good vibe," she said. "This in no way fits that criteria."

"Well, I'm sure there's a section in the movie where they felt good, but spoilers," she grinned.

"I think this whole class is spoilers," Angela pointed out with a grin. "Since we're not getting to watch the whole thing anyway."

"And, y'know, we know history." She paused. "Unless you're not from here and now, or unless you missed that little tidbit in school, but even I caught this one."

"It's kind of a difficult story to forget once you've heard it," Angela agreed. "And as proved by this movie, really sad."

"He better make up for this with comedy next week," she decided.

"Romantic comedy," Brooke added. "You know, in honor of the holiday. It's only right. And also kind of depressing."

"Definitely fitting," she said. "But, depressing? Not how I'd describe that kind of movie."

"Easy for you to say, you've got that whole Hannibal thing going on, right?" she said. "You get to bypass Valentine's Day depression."

"Maybe a little too complicated to get me a free pass," Angela said with a slight wry laugh.

"I'm sure you could wrangle a date out of it or something." No, Brooke had no idea what she was talking about. She just knew if she had a hookup boy she'd be making him date her that day.

"I can at least try," she said with a little smirk. "Of course, for that I would have to talk to him for a decent length of time, which I haven't got the chance to do since Tuesday."

That probably explained a lot of what it needed to.

"Go you," Brooke said, which was a verbal sort of high five.

"And if all else fails? Three minute dates," she pointed out. "Which has got to be better than nothing at all."

"Yeah, I'm going to be there," she nodded. "I figure I already know most of the available guys on the island, but who knows, maybe I'll be surprised." She kind of hoped.

"Or maybe just you'll find one of the ones you do know is worth a second look?" Angela suggested with a shrug.

"Maybe. Or I'll hook up with Chuck or something."

Angela huffed a laugh, nodding at that. "Always an option," she agreed.
