Sam was very glad to have power for his library shift this week, as much as he'd enjoyed finding...alternative ways to stay warm. He'd gotten up early enough to manage a stop for coffee on his way in, and was already halfway done with the cup by the time he got the doors open.

"That would be really nice," Sam said. "For now, I'll try to help you worry as little as possible."

"I know a few ways that could happen," Peter pointed out with a grin.

"Oh really?" Sam said, grinning as well. "Like distractions?"

"Very much like distractions," Peter replied.

"I can distract you, if that's what it takes," Sam said. "It'll be worth the effort."

"If you insist," Peter replied, grinning.

"I do insist," Sam said, grinning. "I'd recommend you don't argue with me. It'll make things a lot easier."

"Man are you demanding," Peter teased as he went in for a kiss.

Sam grinned and kissed Peter back, willing to accept that accusation if this was his reward.
