Phys Ed: Week 3, Period 1 (Fri. 1/23)

When students entered the Danger Shop this week, rather than a gym, or even a freezing powerless scape, they would find themselves transported to a lush green hillside. With a whole bunch of sheep. And a whole lot of heat.

As usual, Ronon started talking when he felt like it. "Today you'll work with a partner to shear some sheep. My teammate said this is a traditional gym class for the Scottish people. Call it cultural education or whatever." Ronon gestured to an area with all the necessary equipment for the process. "Grab some tools and some instructions and get started."

Ronon stopped himself from turning away. "Don't forget to dress out. Locker rooms are right behind you." Ronon himself was again wearing his standard leather ensemble with his massive hair pulled back in a band. And the whistle, just because.

"Do sheep eat people?" He was sure he'd've heard of that if they did.

"Did I mention the part where I grew up in Chicago and have no idea about farm animals? Plus, well, we're here, so maybe these sheep do?"

"As in 'hi, we'd like to shave you?'" Molly giggled. "If we're going to do that, they need to have a little attitude. Like, 'don't eat us and you can be the coolest sheep ever.' And then we can give them mohawks."

"Oh geez, choices, choices. . . ." Priestly grimaced. "Uh, lady's pleasure?"

Molly considered and wasn't thrilled with her final answer. "I guess I'll hold, since you know more about mohawks than I do."

Priestly nodded. "If having one counts for knowledge, sure."

"You do your own, don't you?" This was possibly something she should have asked before she delegated herself into sheep wrangling.

"Yeah, but that only means I know how to do it on my head." Priestly grinned. "But you already said you'd hold, so, please, hold away."

"No laughing," she ordered over her shoulder as she headed towards the nearest sheep. "Here, sheepy, sheepy, sheepy."

The sheep looked remarkably unimpressed.

"I just want to give you a hug."

Once she was next to the sheep, she slowly got down on her hands and knees, and tried to get a good grip and hold it still, which just ended up as Molly with her arms wrapped around the middle of the sheep and hoping it didn't drag her anywhere.

"Whoa. Dude, you reek."

Priestly did his best not to laugh. There was a fair amount of smirking involved, though. He grabbed some tools and crouched down in front of the sheep.

"Alright, dude, you ready to look cool?"

"Y'know, this isn't as easy as it looks," Molly grumbled, fighting to hold the sheep still. "We should have tried the alcohol first."

"They gotta be used to this." Priestly started very carefully working on the sheep's head.
