Heroing [Tuesday, period 2, class #3]

"HELLO, CLASS," boomed Hammer as he entered. He was dressed exactly as he always was, of course. Heroes didn't feel cold. "Today, since it appears to be a bit chilly, I thought we could play dress up!"

He wasn't kidding. Hammer picked up a big trunk of clothes like it weighed nothing and opened it, pulling out capes and lycra and horrifying amounts of spandex.

"Pick out something that you think is a good superhero outfit! And don't forget to pin your logo to your chest! If you don't like our selection here," he added with a little frown, because he thought it was all pretty fierce, "you can design something and bring it in for extra credit next week!"

[wait for the OCD up.]

Adam's eyes widened. That was a lot of spandex. He wondered if he could get away with making something similar to his old ninjetti uniform -- except, it would be green and the zeo crystal would be in the center, instead of the frog coin.

Hmm. If not, he'd just come up with something else.

Probably anything would be warmer than Lion-o's current outfit. He tried out some kind of fish suit thank goodness I still have the icon that was too awkward for use on land. In the end, he settled on a nice, warm jacket and pants (http://www.purrsiathunder.org/tcshow/gallery/albums/wildworkout/cap031.jpg).

The first thing Tony grabbed was a blue spandex bodysuit. "Oh, no," he exclaimed. "I'm not doing spandex." He tossed the bodysuit back and dug through, trying to find something else. A cloak, maybe? He found a bright red cape. Not really his color, but better than some of the other stuff. He set the red cape aside and kept looking, hoping to find something less camp.

Robin actually found a tiny purple dark green eyemask, and cape. He safety pinned his logo to the cape and tied it on. Woot!

Andros decided to stay clear of the spandex, eventually finding a dark red cloak that was very similar to the one that he actually had. He then began looking through the other outfits to see if there was anything else that he could use.

Tahiri reached into the trunk and came up with something in white spandex. A fairly small something, with plenty of . . . creative slashes for exposed skin.

"I might as well not wear anything," she grumbled.

Momoko wasn't really looking for a spandex body suit, having already had to suffer through the Professor's idea of a secondary superhero's outfit, plus it was COLD and she wanted to stay in warm clothes, thank you very much. She was surprised, then, when she found the outfit she finally settled on. And she made it look good, too.

Sokka ended up with bright blue spandex under a white toga, with a billowing purple cape. Shut up, it looked TOTALLY manly!

There was absolutely nothing here that Jess would be caught dead wearing, but he did his best to look through what was there for things that didn't have spandex in them.
