The Library

Janet unlocked the library and walked in, setting her laptop down warily behind the desk and trying not to think about Hathor the last time she was in here. She took a drink from her extra-large mug of coffee and started working.

ETA: She popped out a moment later and stuck a note up on the door: "New teachers need to check out the Rules of Conduct and fill out a library card application in blue or black ink, damn it. Please come inside for a form. Thank you."

"Oh!" Lee fumbles with the cup and spills it all over some Important Documents.


"Oh frak."

"Lee!" Janet rolled her eyes she snatched the cup away, put it on the floor, and grabbed a box of tissues to wipe up the spilled coffee with. "Watch it. And the key to using an unspillable travel mug is to close it up when you're done drinking from it."

She waved at papers to the side of the coffee spill. "Grab these and keep them away from the liquid."

Lee grabs the papers and looks thoroughly distressed.

Janet sighs as she finishes cleaning up. "I'm sorry," she says. "I shouldn't have snapped at you. Spilled coffee just frustrates me."

"Can I help you fix this...re-xerox something....get you more coffee...back massage?...kill Daniel?....?"

"Nah, I'll reprint them later," Janet says, tossing the last coffee-stained tissue in the garbage. "Print job's just going to take forever, though." She frowns at the desk, then looks up at Lee. He's too adorable, and he really didn't mean it. She can't stay mad. "You can just provide the ice cream later tonight. Sound good? If you kill Daniel, he'll only come back, so don't worry about that."

OOC: Going to leave, then go to dance lessons 'til 8:30. Gonna be on later?
