Kappa Kappa Gremlin Mtg: Danger Shop, Thursday Afternoon

The Danger Shop was ready and waiting for the young, strapping men of Kappa Kappa Gremlin to get their Shirtless Calendar action on.

Meaning John had gotten access to the room and brought a 2-liter and some cheese puffs along for the ride.

See? Legendary set up. He only hoped the fake snow wasn't actually cold.

Romeo was still picking bits of glitter off his skin and hoping a second shower had gotten everything. he didn't want to sparkle like a vampire in a cheap teen romance for this, after all.

Cal was running late for a multitude of reasons. It was crazy trying to get back to the school from town because there were rickshaws everywhere, but, thankfully, when you had a tractor in your past the same way Cal did, you learned how to avoid moving vehicles as well as possible. But then there was the glitter. This morning, his shower had gone fine. This time around, trying to wash off work before having to attempt to look laughably good for the shoot...

...there'd been glitter. A lot of it, and he was thanking God he didn't have to see Fanbutt right now. He was doing his best to wipe more of it off, but, he swore, glitter was like the herpes of craft supplies.

Claire gave him a slightly distracted smile. "So I'm guessing we decided against the blankets with smallpox."

Cal gave a light smile back. "I tried. I'm pretty sure Teddy thinks I'm insane now."

He didn't sound too bothered by it. He also wondered how much of the glitter was noticeable and hoped it wasn't very. He really had tried to get it off.

"Eh, not everyone is going to understand art," Claire said dismissively, glancing around to see if she remembered which one was Teddy. When her eyes came back to Cal -- which, truthfully, didn't take all that long -- she squinted a little at what seemed to be a shimmery glint in his eyebrow.

"Cal? Did you put on makeup or something?"

A photoshoot was old hat for Chad now; he just chilled for a bit until he and Teddy were up.

And, actually? He hadn't even noticed the glitter yet.

Ben was setting up his camera equipment and whatever else somebody needed when they were conducting a photoshoot. He was entirely interruptible while he was doing this, of course.

"There's less set up than I expected since this Danger Shop thing is insane," Ben said. "But if you really want to load film or anything, I won't complain. Oh, and I guess we can see if you want to take any of the pictures."

"I can load film," Claire said. "I dunno about the pictures. I think I'll just watch you and maybe take some test shots since I'm about to collapse from sleepy."

Claire watched the guys gather, trying to blend into the wall. This might have been easier if she hadn't been holding her camera bag and her sketchbook.

What did a photographer's assistant even do?
