The Danger Shop was ready and waiting for the young, strapping men of Kappa Kappa Gremlin to get their Shirtless Calendar action on.

Meaning John had gotten access to the room and brought a 2-liter and some cheese puffs along for the ride.

See? Legendary set up. He only hoped the fake snow wasn't actually cold.

Cal sighed, but he ducked his head complacently to let her touch it. "It's glitter," he admitted. "It came out of the showers and I can't get it out of my hair."

Claire raised herself on tiptoes to see the top of his head, then grimaced. "Yeah, there's still some at the roots," she reported. "But from the front all I noticed was the eyebrow thing? And that came right off."

She held up a shiny thumb in proof. "And I'm now really glad I showered last night."

"Nothing happened this morning!" Cal insisted. "I was glitter-free at work. I should have just said screw it to cleaning up after the diner."

Except that he wouldn't. It didn't matter that Claire saw him when he was stuck at the diner all the time, but he knew she'd be here so he didn't want the diner clinging to him unnecessarily.

"But then you'd smell like grease," Claire noted helpfully, with a wrinkled nose. "Seriously, you can barely tell. I bet Ben can shoot it so the glitter doesn't show at all. You look good, anyhow."

Cal couldn't help grinning at that, sheepishly, glad his head was already partially ducked. It was a little thing, stupid probably, but he kind of needed it after what happened with Ino earlier. "Yeah? You think so?"

Claire almost told him she always thought he was cute, but bit that back. It was a little bit too eager, and she didn't want to make things quite that easy on him.

"Totally," she said instead. "I mean, it's no Indian and smallpox. But it works."
