Kappa Kappa Gremlin Mtg: Danger Shop, Thursday Afternoon

The Danger Shop was ready and waiting for the young, strapping men of Kappa Kappa Gremlin to get their Shirtless Calendar action on.

Meaning John had gotten access to the room and brought a 2-liter and some cheese puffs along for the ride.

See? Legendary set up. He only hoped the fake snow wasn't actually cold.

Ben snickered. "I was making that up," he admitted.

Gavin mock glared at him and took a swipe for his hair. "Smartass!"

"Skywalker!" Ben replied as his hair was thoroughly mussed. "You should know that!"

"Well, I'm getting old and all," he said and rolled his eyes. "I might be forgetting things in my old age. Like your last name. Or the fact that you might not like it when I toss you in the lake."

Ben scoffed. "You can't toss a Jedi into a lake!"

Ben was asking for trouble, yes.

"You don't think so?" Gavin asked. "That's a chunk of overconfidence there, Ben. I have Jedi friends too."

"They're all related to me," Ben bluffed, "which means they love me more."

"You've never been smacked by someone you love?" Gavin asked, eyebrows going up.

Ben thought about it. "No," he said finally.

"I highly doubt that," he said and laughed. "No one ever threw sand at you?"

"Never," Ben said. "I had a heavily armed nanny droid when I was little and was Jacen's apprentice when I turned nine. I didn't exactly hang out with normal kids."

"Well, then, there's a first time for everything," he decided. "I'll have to see if someone close to you will smack you."

"That's so very sweet of you," Ben said, snickering. "What a good friend you are."

"I do try," he said. "It'll be good for you. Like a rite of passage!"

"I need a rite of passage?" Ben asked.

"Sure," Gavin said, grinning. "Every boy does!"

"What was yours?" Ben asked.

"I lived on Tatooine for a long time," Gavin said. "What do you think?"

"Being fed to a sarlaac?"

Ben's version of Tatooine was a little skewed.

He paused. "But I bet it was really something on Beggar's Canyon, huh?"

Gavin mock glared again before he nodded. "Let's just say I almost lost my clothes once."

"Would've been a hell of a sunburn," Ben commented.

"You're telling me," he said. "Damn desert planet. No one needs to lose their clothes in a place like that."

"So I'm guessing you're backdrop isn't gonna be sandy, huh?" Ben said, eyes sparkling.

"Not if I can help it," Gavin said. "I never thought I'd be doing this."

"Me either," Ben said. "I never thought of myself as very calendar-y."

He paused. "If that's a word."
