Thanksgiving dinner, Cafeteria, Thursday early evening

Anyone who arrived in the cafeteria for Thanksgiving dinner would find the tables arranged in the best way possible to allow as many people to speak to each other as possible, and also covered in rust-colored tablecloths. And turkey confetti. In fact, the whole place was decked out in autumny orange and gold and reddish brown hues, including the centerpieces. Very warm and inviting and pretty, and thanks to the kitchen, it smelled great. All in all, the place looked very nice, and the food would actually be edible when it was time to eat.

And the Fandom High cheerleaders wanted everyone to have a wonderful Thanksgiving. *mods, mwahaha*

Things smelled wonderful already, and Jack was hanging back a bit, trying not to look too eager.

Angela was there, doing her cheerleadery duty.

Okay, and she was also there for friends and the lots of food. That too.

Since the Cheerleaders were hosting it, there was no way Naomi was missing out on this.

Penelope was very grateful to have somewhere to go today that wasn't home. The dinner smelled wonderful and she thought the cheerleaders were most awesome for planning this. They derserved something really nice as a thank you.

[Extreme SP from me until later, possibly early evening!]

Johnny definitely wasn't going to miss this.

[la la, extreme sp until much later.]

It looked like Penelope got more than she could eat for being such a little person. But when she sat down with her plate and her dessert, she smiled and began to eat. And she would finish it, even if it took her the rest of the evening. It was all so good.

Oh dear. If she moved an inch, she was going to bust.

Hinata, though she was still slightly fuzzy on the exact details of how a holiday like this had come about, had made the decision to come down to the dinner.

It was rather nice, she thought, smiling and slipping in just off to the side.

Everything smelled, and looked, so good that Hinata felt perfectly justified in having a bit more on her plate than normal.

She might regret it tomorrow, but that was a consideration for later. And it tasted better than it smelled even.

There was a celebration that involved a great deal of food! A celebration about food, and thanks and other stuff that Viki wasn't entirely sure on.

To be entirely fair, she wasn't entirely sure on anything but the fact that massive amounts of food were involved. Which, really, made it a celebration that she couldn't resist.

Viki blinked in, and beamed. Already it smelled fantastic.

Viki piled her plate high, beaming at everyone and everything, and dug in with plenty of enthusiasm.

There was a celebration about food and she hadn't disappeared before getting to eat!

Viki did not think she was able to move properly, and that just added to her general slightly startled delight at the whole world today.

When she wanted to go, she would just teleport out. As it was though, Viki was perfectly content to linger and just revel in the feeling of actually, for once, making it through a real celebration.

Hannibal showed up, ready to eat and enjoy the holiday.

Hannibal sure as hell didn't cook but he brought some cookies. Chocolate chip, even! The expensive kind.

He set the tray down and left them for dessert.

Hannibal took a plate and found a seat, digging in eagerly.

There was no such thing as too much pie, so Angela brought some along with her.

She didn't try to cook it. This is almost definitely a good thing.

The chances of Angela actually managing to finish the entire plate of food she'd amassed were pretty slim, but she was at least going to try. Come on, it was at least half the point of the holiday.

She picked herself out space to eat in a nice central location. The more people around her the better as far as she was concerned. That was the other necessary half of the holiday.

More weird Earth holidays, but when food was involved, Ronon wasn't complaining. In fact, he'd speared a large hunk of turkey on a fork and was gnawing on the meat quite happily.

Toby was not a cheerleader, but he'd totally gotten into the whole holiday thing after radio and made a slew of rum balls for the occasion. "So I know Christmas is usually the cookie holiday, but like, I felt the need to bake." Not that rum balls required baking. Just alcohol.

Toby arrived, glad to have a place where he could spend the holiday with people. Even if he was the only one without a shirt.
