Thanksgiving dinner, Cafeteria, Thursday early evening

Anyone who arrived in the cafeteria for Thanksgiving dinner would find the tables arranged in the best way possible to allow as many people to speak to each other as possible, and also covered in rust-colored tablecloths. And turkey confetti. In fact, the whole place was decked out in autumny orange and gold and reddish brown hues, including the centerpieces. Very warm and inviting and pretty, and thanks to the kitchen, it smelled great. All in all, the place looked very nice, and the food would actually be edible when it was time to eat.

And the Fandom High cheerleaders wanted everyone to have a wonderful Thanksgiving. *mods, mwahaha*

Things smelled wonderful already, and Jack was hanging back a bit, trying not to look too eager.

Angela was there, doing her cheerleadery duty.

Okay, and she was also there for friends and the lots of food. That too.

Penelope was very grateful to have somewhere to go today that wasn't home. The dinner smelled wonderful and she thought the cheerleaders were most awesome for planning this. They derserved something really nice as a thank you.

[Extreme SP from me until later, possibly early evening!]

Hinata, though she was still slightly fuzzy on the exact details of how a holiday like this had come about, had made the decision to come down to the dinner.

It was rather nice, she thought, smiling and slipping in just off to the side.

There was a celebration that involved a great deal of food! A celebration about food, and thanks and other stuff that Viki wasn't entirely sure on.

To be entirely fair, she wasn't entirely sure on anything but the fact that massive amounts of food were involved. Which, really, made it a celebration that she couldn't resist.

Viki blinked in, and beamed. Already it smelled fantastic.

G'Kar only knew of this holiday in passing. He'd heard of it, of course, but never actually participated. But the idea behind the custom he found interesting, so he decided to put in an appearance.

Of course Kaylee was here. There wasn't no sense in trying to go home for a holiday that her parents didn't even celebrate. To be honest, she probably wouldn't even be home for the ones they did celebrate.

When Jess saw how many people were in the cafeteria, he almost turned around and went back to his room. But, he'd promised Brooke that he'd be here, and he didn't want to disappoint her.

No classes -- okay, that wasn't different from usual on Thursdays for Tahiri, but Thanksgiving definitely was.

Sure, she could have followed everybody down to the cafeteria by following the mix of curiosity, excitement, and hunger she felt in the Force, but it was a lot more obvious to just follow her nose.

Which she did, and took a deep breath when she arrived. "Wow."

What, like Katchoo was going to go home for Thanksgiving? Or for anything, really?

She had blown off work today, though, on account of arriving and finding a very large bacon-wrapped turducken on the store's front step. She'd figured it was a sign, and so she'd brought it with her tonight.

It was at times like these, carrying a gigantic triple-decker bird on a platter, that Katchoo remembered she actually wasn't all that tall.

The idea of mingling always filled her with dread, but Anemone slipped into the cafeteria anyway in hopes of food.
