Thanksgiving dinner, Cafeteria, Thursday early evening

Anyone who arrived in the cafeteria for Thanksgiving dinner would find the tables arranged in the best way possible to allow as many people to speak to each other as possible, and also covered in rust-colored tablecloths. And turkey confetti. In fact, the whole place was decked out in autumny orange and gold and reddish brown hues, including the centerpieces. Very warm and inviting and pretty, and thanks to the kitchen, it smelled great. All in all, the place looked very nice, and the food would actually be edible when it was time to eat.

And the Fandom High cheerleaders wanted everyone to have a wonderful Thanksgiving. *mods, mwahaha*

Naomi spotted Jack and waved, "hey Jack," she said.

"Naomi! Hi. How've you been? Haven't seen you in a while."

Jack just remembered he didn't visit her at work, like he had been. Well, this was awkward.

"I've been good," Naomi smiled, "just mostly keeping busy with work and classes, how have you been?"

"Feels like I'm busy doing nothing," he said with a bit of a grin. "But I can't think of anything I've done, so... just spinning my wheels. Trying to figure out what I'm going to do for the holidays. Christmas is coming up..."

"Are you doing anything over Christmas?" Naomi asked.

"Not that I know of," he replied. "I want to make a road trip, but..." He shrugged.

"That sounds like it'd be fun," Naomi said, "I'll probably be visiting my parents at some point over the holidays,"

"Hey, see, there you go! You've got a place to go to. You should definitely go." Jack was having "parental visit" issues at the moment.

"Yeah, I do want to go and visit," Naomi nodded, "I just have to wait and see how busy things are going to be over on the Titan before I make final arrangements,"
