Remembrance Day, Armistice Day, Veterans Day... whatever you wanted to call it, it amused Anemone. 'Remembering' veterans certainly wasn't keeping the humans from making more of them. Like her.
Still, she couldn't help but appreciate the private irony in their choice of flower to commemorate the occasion.
She carefully twisted silk blooms of anemone coronaria into her hair as she reshelved, humming happily. She didn't have any papaver rhoeas, but these were close enough, and more appropriate, anyway. Windflowers for a living dead girl.

Re: OOC
The Veterans of Foreign Wars use the poppy while the Disabled American Veterans use the Foget-me-not (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forget-me-not).
Another random fact for you! :D
