Peter and Eva hadn't been able to convince Jake to come out and see the town with them today, so it was just the two of them. Peter was looking at a piece of paper in his hand, "I think this is the right place."

"Be careful," Eva warned. "The one I met yesterday wanted to know if I was going to stab him."

"I'm Mr. Cullen," Edward said. "Can I help you?"

"See," Peter proclaimed triumphantly. "This is the right place."

Eva gave him a fond grin and shook her head. Then she turned to Edward.

"I'm Eva and this is Peter. Conrad. We're Marco's parents."

"Very nice to meet you," Edward said. "Has he told you that he's one of my TAs?"

"He hasn't," Eva raised an eyebrow. "I have a hard time imagining Marco in a position of responsibility," she admitted.

Peter snorted in amused agreement.

"He does tend to doze off in class," Edward said. "He's very bright, though."

"That he is," Peter said proudly at the same time that Eva muttered "Dosing off in class, huh?" in the tone of someone who was rehearsing a lecture.
