The day after homecoming (*cough* and any post-Homecoming or during Homecoming things that are still being slow played *cough*) found Angelus in the journalism classroom. He'd taken over a few desks and chairs, moving them so that he could sit in one chair with a mug of warm blood on a desk beside him, his feet raised and propped up on a desk in front of him, and a laptop cradled in his lap.

He typed away at his article.

Anyone watching him would notice two things:

1) He was still disturbingly cheerful, albeit focused on his work

2) He was dressed in black jeans, a black long-sleeved, form-fitting T-shirt, black shoes, and a pair of black-rimmed eyeglasses.

It was possible for people to interrupt him if they cared to.

(OOC: Beka did join the newspaper staff to do a sex column, and she might well come in to work on something about the people seen in dark corners. Welcome interruption or unwelcome?)

Though the dress hadn't been near so bad -- definitely not bad, no, and the results? wow -- as she'd imagined, it felt good to be back in Beka clothes. Skin-tight black sleeveless tank, jeans, silver buckled-belt, boots, and black-ribbon choker with silver pendant. Much more practical for things like working on campaign strategy...or newspaper articles about relationships...like she was such an expert?

"I need to work on saying 'no'," Beka groused goodnaturedly, as she entered the Journalism classroom.

Duce strolls to the classroom and leans against the doorjam. Her face scans across as though looking for someone, teeth flashing in a positively predatory smile when she doesn't find them. Pulling a small notebook and pen from the pocket of her leather jacket, she checks something off as her smile grows.

Contrary to the icon, she's back in darkling ensemble again - black jeans and t-shirt, leather jacket and boots. Scanning the room again, she does a double-take at Angelus' outfit. "Angelus, bebeh, you look so naaahz. You should do casual wear more often." She comments casually, "Anyone seen Jake this morning?"

Chloe's fallen into the habit of peeking into the Journalism classroom whenever she walks by, to see if anyone is in there. She's surprised to see people today, expecting everyone to have stayed in post-Homecoming. "Well, hello everyone. It's good to see you guys," she says cheerily.

Rory is on her way past the Journalism classroom, and stops when she notices people in there working.

"What're you all doing? It's...Saturday. And early," she says incredulously, stepping in and staring around blearily.

Logan's right behind Rory. He's still in his suit from last night, but the jacket's hanging over his arm, his tie is loosened and his sleeves are rolled up. Also, he's pretty rumpled, like his clothes spent a lot of time on the floor last night. Or this morning.

He leans against the door frame. "Well, aren't you the dedicated student?" he says to Angelus.

"3500 years in the future. What do you think?"
