Library [Saturday]

Mac had avoided all homecoming related activities so far, which was quite a feat considering the sheer amount of them going on.

She'd also not noticed anything even slightly strange about today, so she was down in the library, seeming relatively cheerful as she catalogued books behind the front desk.

A very giggled Theresa Hoshi showed up at the Harmony Fandom library as soon as it opened. She proceeded to grab a handful of magazines and tabloids, looking for pictures of her true love, Jonathon Archer. "He's so dreamy! One day, I'm going I'm going to marry him and become Mrs. Jonathon Archer," she squealed.

"Jonathon Archer!" squealed Hoshi. "He's this gorgeous test pilot." She showed Mac one of the pictures she had cut out of the magazine. There was black marker covering up Archer's female companion in the photo.

"Her name is Ruby or Suzy or something else like that," said Hoshi, scowling. "But she's not important, because I'm the one who's destined to be with him."

"Because it was meant to be," said Hoshi. She sighed dramatically. "You know, I've been saving myself for him."

"Yes," said Hoshi breathlessly. "He gave me a puppy. I think it means he loves me too."

Actually, it was only because his girlfriend was allergic to dogs.

"Isn't he dreamy?" asked Hoshi.

Normally she had a larger vocabulary, but at the moment she was too air-headed to come up with any other words.

"San Francisco," said Hoshi. "It's sooooo far away."

The library doors banged open, and Katchoo sprinted into the library, eyes wide and her panicked gasps of breath echoing deafeningly off the walls and floor.

She glanced around. They were going to find her soon. It was only a matter of time. Must find a place to hide!

She darted off into the stacks.
