The Club Fair; the Gym; Friday Afternoon [ 10/03 ]

Turtle had been more than happy to volunteer to get help with setting up for the club fair all morning, with all the tables and posters and sign up clipboards and refreshments and subtle product placement from Turtle & Canary. There was even a great big board by the door boasting the Club Schedule.

It was a little sad to have to leave the mecca of organization she had created to attend Student Council, but she was back quickly after to get the club fair started. And scurry over to her own table.

[[ wait for the OCD or be crippled by a kick to the shins. Your choice. OCD IS UP! You are free from the threat of kicking for now. I hope I didn't forget anyone! ]]

[[ Each Most clubs will have two threads: a promotion table for interaction with the club head(s) and an OOC sign up sheet to join the club. A few clubs have an exception or two, and those exceptions will be pointed out in the thread. ]]

[[ ETA: Soooo, I made a little "oops" on the schedule, and there actually ARE no 3pm classes. So ignore those Xs. If it helps anyway, 1pm = Fourth Period, 2pm = Fifth Period, sorry about the mix up and any confusion! ]]

And hope that, when the representative pings in, the first rule of flight club isn't that you don't talk about flight club.

Gavin hadn't ever been the head of any type of club but he was situated beside the booth, relaxed and idly flipping through a magazine.

Ben tried not to turn into a total fanboy when he realized who was running the flight club.

"I'll get to fly with a Rogue?"

Gavin was pretty sure but man, it'd been awhile since he'd flown. He needed to do something about that.

"Glad you think so," he said and grinned. "We'll probably start in the sim but if we can actually get in the air, I want to."

"You realize you're taking up my valuable time in the flight shed with this," Jaina said, like she wasn't going to sign up. Really, her reasoning for signing up was that she wanted the flight shed time, so there you go.

Agnes hung around unobtrusively next to the table for a while before finally deciding to step forward. "So, uh... What sorts of things will you be flying?" she asked.

"Fighters, shuttles, transports," Gavin rattled off. "The specifics will be decided as we get closer to start time."

Agnes bit her lip and looked down at her hands for a bit while she turned a little pink. "...Broomsticks?" she asked.

"I don't see why not," Gavin said after a moment's pause. "They fly, right? Some of them?"

"Gavin Darklighter," he said and shook her hand. "And me too. We'd start out in a flight sim in this club and move onto hopefully getting in the air. I think we have a ship or two we can use."
