Turtle had been more than happy to volunteer to get help with setting up for the club fair all morning, with all the tables and posters and sign up clipboards and refreshments and subtle product placement from Turtle & Canary. There was even a great big board by the door boasting the Club Schedule.

It was a little sad to have to leave the mecca of organization she had created to attend Student Council, but she was back quickly after to get the club fair started. And scurry over to her own table.

[[ ~~Each~~ Most clubs will have two threads: a promotion table for interaction with the club head(s) and an OOC sign up sheet to join the club. A few clubs have an exception or two, and those exceptions will be pointed out in the thread. ]]

[[ ETA: Soooo, I made a little "oops" on the schedule, and there actually ARE no 3pm classes. So ignore those Xs. If it helps anyway, 1pm = Fourth Period, 2pm = Fifth Period, sorry about the mix up and any confusion! ]]

"I dunno, you and flight club?" John teased, coming up to the table.

"Aren't you supposed to support the guy you love so completely?" Gavin teased right back.

"Oh yes, of course. I'd better sign up before Karal can," John laughed.

"You'll be number one in my heart, if you do," Gavin said and sighed. "So brave and macho."

"Only for you," John promised. "So what are we flying?"

"Lots of things," Gavin said. "Flight sim's pretty good at simming things. X-Wings, this planet's jets, shuttles, that sort of thing. I'm sure Professor Skywalker will have other ideas too."

Oh great. "Professor Skywalker's coming? Let's hope his ideas don't involve sending people EV."

"Professor Skywalker's the adviser," Gavin said. "So, yeah, he's coming."

"He doesn't have to approve club members, does he?" John wondered. "Wouldn't want to waste my time signing up."

"I...don't think so," he said. "If he did, it'd be more like a team and not a club."

"Excellent. In that case, I promise not to go easy on you in-flight," John said cockily.

"I'm not too concerned," Gavin said and smirked.

"This club could offer some interesting competitive options," John remarked.

"As long as you don't cry when you lose," Gavin remarked.

"Oh, I won't lose," John decided. He might cry...

"Your confidence will be your undoing," Gavin said and wow, he sound all wise and knowledgeable there.

"Maybe it'll be your undoing instead."

"I'm not confident," he said even if he was. "I'm competent."

"Just not competent with a razor," John said, meaning Gavin's ~~incredibly hot~~ stubble.

"Yeah, because you'd get out of bed every morning and spend a half hour shaving," Gavin said and rubbed his chin. "I like it."

"Actually, I do," John replied, rubbing a hand over his burgeoning five o'clock shadow. "I like looking nice."

"Might wanna get that bird's nest cut, then," Gavin said, nodding to John's hair.

"I'll have you know that it looks worse longer, more like that tall guy, Sam." It was cute, he just didn't like it.

"You've had it longer?" Gavin asked, trying to picture it.

"Yes, it shied toward the floppy spectrum," John said. "And no, I won't grow it out for you."
