It was a very annoyed Sam Winchester who opened the library in the morning. His date with Peter had been foiled and he'd gone back to his room feeling like a complete idiot.

And then he'd woken up with breasts. Again.

As much as he wanted to do nothing more than hide in his room, Sam took his job seriously enough to show up and get settled behind the desk. Without Dawn this time around, he had no access to girl clothes, so he'd had to do his best with the smallest clothes he owned. He hoped that if he stayed behind the desk, no one would notice he wasn't wearing shoes. Or a bra.

He could already tell it was going to be an unbearable day.

Peter came over to the counter with the coffee and donuts. He looked around since that's where he could usually find Sam.

"Sam?"

Sam wanted to keep hiding, he really did, but he didn't want Peter to worry, and that's what got him standing up again.

"Hi."

Peter recognized the eyes, and the hangdog expression.

That didn't mean he wasn't staring, though.

"The island hates me. And a bunch of other people too. But mainly me," Sam said.

"You know," Peter said, leaning against the counter, "when I said last night that you owed me I didn't exactly mean - " he made a gesture to encompass the whole of Sam " - props."

"I didn't do this on purpose!" Sam said quickly. "I just woke up like this, I swear." He crossed his arms over his chest, trying to take up less room behind the desk, like that would help him disappear.

"You're still cute," Peter assured him. In case that was a concern.

Sam scowled a little, but looked a little pleased. "Thanks. I'm glad you're okay."

"Did you get Grace home okay at least?" Peter asked.

"Yeah. Dad didn't say anything to me when I dropped her off, so I don't think he suspects anything," Sam said. "I really am sorry about what happened."

"Me too." Peter gave Sam a private smile. "I was enjoying myself."

"Me too," Sam said, looking a little shy for the moment. "You felt really nice."

"So did you," Peter said. "Too bad we got interrupted."

"Yeah, if we hadn't, we might've...you know, done more," Sam said, shifting on his chair a little.

Peter grinned at Sam. "Oh yeah? I could've enjoyed more. Not with your dad in the room, but as a concept."

"Definitely more," Sam said. "Maybe even the kind of more you want."

"Is it more with you?" Peter asked. "That's the more I want."

Sam smiled. "Well, not with me like this. But with me, yeah."

"Maybe we can try again when you're feeling more like yourself," Peter said.

"I'd like that a lot," Sam said. "Maybe we should stick to the dorm. I think we might stand less of a chance of being interrupted there."

"Lock the door and ram a chair up against it for good measure," Peter teased.

"And maybe turn off the lights?" Sam replied, teasing just as much.

"Only if it made you more comfortable," Peter said. "'cause I'd love to see you."

And there was Sam getting red again. "Okay, lights on then."

"Think I could sneak a kiss even though you're not yourself?" Peter asked.
