It was a very annoyed Sam Winchester who opened the library in the morning. His date with Peter had been foiled and he'd gone back to his room feeling like a complete idiot.

And then he'd woken up with breasts. Again.

As much as he wanted to do nothing more than hide in his room, Sam took his job seriously enough to show up and get settled behind the desk. Without Dawn this time around, he had no access to girl clothes, so he'd had to do his best with the smallest clothes he owned. He hoped that if he stayed behind the desk, no one would notice he wasn't wearing shoes. Or a bra.

He could already tell it was going to be an unbearable day.

Sam worked on organizing the desk and checking in books, leaving them stacked up to put away later.

Between periods, Sam snuck into the stacks and found an interesting-looking history book to read.

Since he was stuck at the desk, Sam set his book aside for the moment to play around on the internet. He wasn't quite sure how his browsing brought him to a certain site, but he couldn't deny that the information was kind of intriguing. Or that one perk to being a girl was that it wasn't nearly as uncomfortable to sit around after looking at pictures like that.

The library was open for lunch, and Sam was still at the desk, not having brought anything to eat. If the turning into a girl thing had hit Dean, Sam wasn't a hundred percent certain he'd come out of his room at all.

Sam went back to finishing his book, afraid that he'd get caught looking at something embarrassing if he went back to the computer.

Since classes were over, Sam felt more comfortable wandering through the library to make sure everything was in place.

Oh, how I love genderswap day! Also, that third period link is not worksafe. Mmmmm internet boykissy.

Indy wandered into the library carrying a couple cups of coffee and stopped when he saw a strange looking girl at the front desk.

"Isn't Sam supposed to be working today?" he asked.

"Um." Sam looked a little uncomfortable, and tried to figure out how to explain. "I am Sam. It's--Fandom's done this before and--it kind of hates me today."

Indy stopped for a moment and gave Sam a careful look.

"What?"

...

"Naaaah. You're pulling my leg."

The manly cry of "SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!" probably could have been heard from down the hall. Lois burst into the library wearing only a pair of plaid boxers.

What? They were comfortable to sleep in. That's the only reason she had them in her room.

"Where's Sam?!" she asked.

His last meeting with Peter had put Jess at his limit, and as much as he didn't want to do this, he knew who he had to talk to.

Of course, it would have helped if Sam was actually in the library when he was supposed to be.

"Hey," he said, going up to the desk. "Is Sam around?"

"I'm not. I really, really wish I was though," Sam said.

Sam had looked up when he heard his name being called, and quickly tried to minimize what he was looking at. "I'm Sam," he said, trying not to stare. "Who are you, and why aren't you wearing any clothes?"

"None of my clothes would fit," she whined. Lois paused. "You're Sam? This didn't just happen to me then? Thank god! It's Lois, by the way."

Indy stood there for a moment with a befuddled look on his face and wondered if it was too early to start drinking.

"Right," he said rubbing his chin. "So. Um. Carry on. Call me if you... need. Something."

And with that he went to his office.

Sam watched him go into his office and headdesked a little when he thought Dr. Jones was out of earshot.

Sam peered up from his book and glared when he realized who had come in. "What the hell do you want?"

"Lois? No, it's not just you. This has happened before, actually." Okay, now he had to stare a little. "Are you cold?"

"Not as much as you'd think. I kind of ran here from the dorms," she said, moving closer to the desk. She looked down at Sam's chest. "Are you cold?"

"I'm looking for Sam Winchester," he said, trying to not to glare back, at least not yet. "I thought he worked here on Thursdays."

Sam glanced down and blushed as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Maybe a little," he said. "I hate this place so much sometimes, I really do."

Days like this, Cimorene wished she still had the magic wardrobe. Instead, she had a pair of ill-fitting pants and shirt. So...library for research time it was.

"I'm Sam," he said sharply. "What the hell do you want, Jess?"

"I'm just glad it's not only me. I mean, my dad would be ecstatic if this was permanent but I miss my body already," she said, pouting slightly. "How long did it last the other time this happened?"
