Phys Ed: Week 3, Period 2 (9/19)

When students entered the Danger Shop this week, rather than a gym, they would find themselves transported to a lush green hillside. With a whole bunch of sheep.

As usual, Ronon started talking when he felt like it. "Okay, today you'll work with a partner to shear some sheep. Mc-my teammate said this is a traditional gym class for the Scottish people. Call it cultural gym or somethin.'" Ronon gestured to an area with all the necessary equipment for the process. "Grab some tools and some instructions and get started."

Ronon stopped himself from turning away. "Don't forget to dress out. Locker rooms are right behind you." Ronon himself was again wearing his standard leather ensemble.

He's watching closely. It's not like he's ever sheared a sheep before.

"Um, excuse me sir," Lois said, coming up to Ronon at the beginning of class. She wasn't dressed in her gym uniform. "Why do we have to dress in those gym uniforms just to shear sheep...and aren't we supposed to shear sheep in the summer?"

Lois wasn't so much worried for the sheep in the winter months as much as she really didn't want to have to touch a sheep.

Ronon shrugged. "You want sheep fur all over your clothes?" He was ignoring her other question. He came from worlds that all looked like summer in Vancouver, winter meant nothing.

"I don't want sheep fur on me at all," Lois said. "But since it seems you consider it to be a form of exerciseI wouldn't mind doing it in my normal clothes. To be honest, sir, every time you make me put on those ugly uniforms I die a little inside."

"Just a little?" Yes, Ronon was amused. He was surprised it had taken three weeks for someone to complain about the uniforms.

"It's a gradual thing," Lois said, nodding her head. "I really think you should let us wear our own clothes. I mean, in real life when I actually need to use the skills I've learned in here I am not going to be wearing ugly, unfitted shorts and a t-shirt that looks like it's been leftover from a summer camp craft project gone wrong."

Ronon shrugged, unconcerned. "They get the job done. You wanna wear your own clothes?"

"Yes, yes I do," she said. "I prefer fashion over function, thank you."

The fact that Ichigo was already in his uniform might have been an indication that yes, he had been planning on participating. That was until a certain blonde had spotted the bandages and the beaten up look.

"Sir?" Ichigo approached Ronon rather wearily, having no idea how he was going to respond.

He really hated Ino right now. "I got into a bit of a fight yesterday and I was wondering if it was okay to sit out this class," he said reluctantly. "I can make it up next week."
