Sam was glad to be back in the library, even if he was going to have to get used to being there on Thursdays. Wanting to make a good impression on the new librarian, he got to the library early to get everything set up long before he opened the doors to everyone else.

"You know it. Not that Gracie wouldn't be able to chew that kind of boy up and spit him out mind you, but it's the principle of the matter."

"We'd be the backup in case the guy gets her when she's not expecting it, or if she wants help," Sam said matter-of-factly.

"And to make him prove he really wants her because he has to go through us to get to her," Dean added.

"After everything I went through to get Dawn, I know any guy who truly cares about Grace will be willing to go through us," Sam agreed.

Dean bit his tongue before he could make a pointed comment about Dawn -- no reason to make Sammy feel like crap all the time -- and instead just nodded. "And that's what we'll tell her when she bitches at us."
