"When I first arrived, we were in Antarctica," Angela supplied helpfully. "And I'd just travelled the few hours here from DC by car."

Angela nodded with sympathetic smile. "Well, I think not so much grew, as attached itself to another island... But it amounts to the same thing."

Angela grinned. "He told you the truth," she said.

"And I can vouch for his sanity." In as much as you could vouch for anyone's sanity around here. "He's my roommate."

"I'm Angela, by the way," she added.
