And over here was another section of tables and chairs, still close to the food so no one accidentally starved while trying to avoid the masses.

Hannibal was still there, still without a shirt and still enjoying himself.

Annja couldn't help but to notice the shirtless guy.

Hannibal smiled back at the girl. He resisted the cheesy urge to pose though. He was smarter than that.

Her first thought was that this guy was pretty hot. Then she mentally groaned, wanting to smack herself.

He was too young for her.

"Enjoying yourself?" Hannibal asked, breaking the silence.

Annja smiled. "So far so good."

"Anything I can help with?" he asked helpfully. "I'm an encyclopedia of knowledge."

He wasn't.

Angela fanned herself theatrically, a broad grin on her face.

"I just love the clothing optional aspect of this school."

Hannibal bowed. "Like you haven't seen this before but I'm glad you appreciate."

"Always," she confirmed cheerfully. How couldn't she?

"Freaked out any of the newer-than-us-bies yet?" Angela asked.

"Not yet," he said proudly. "I'm being good. See, aren't you proud of me?"

"Oh yeah," Angela said with a smirk. "You can have a cookie later."

She didn't actually have cookies. The thought was there, though.

"Oooh, homemade?" He tried to look as cute as he could.

"I can probably swing JGoB made?" she suggested instead.

"You'd go all the way to JGOB for me?" he teased. "Aww, Angela, my favorite roommate."

"And here I thought you liked our invisible third better than me," she said with a deep sigh. "Anyway, it's a five minute walk at most, and I get to eat them too."

Alice was only blushing a little as she waved in Hannibal's direction. It was hot out, presumably. That explained his attire. Really.

"Alice!" he said, wandering over with a smile on his face. "Hi! Glad you're here."

"As am I," Alice laughed. "The scenery is especially decorative. I'd no idea it was to be quite so hot out, today."

"Neither did I," he said and grinned. "Someone asked me to do this and I can't very well turn down a request."

"No, indeed," Alice grinned. "It would seem neither could any of the other gentlemen the request was made of. Such a hardship to endure, having to see all of this debauchery."

"Yeah, there's a apparently some game going on," he said and shrugged. "I have no problems getting my shirt off though. It'll give me a nice tan."

"I spent my first picnic wearing a pinafore and stockings, wondering why everyone here was half-dressed," she smiled. "Society has changed somewhat in the past century or so. Much prettier to observe."

"Glad you think so," he said. "How's the rest of the picnic going for you?"

"I only just got here," she said, gesturing to it. "It seems to be in full swing. Did you taste interesting the other day, or was that just me?"

Alice didn't bother with segues very often. She didn't see the point, really.
