"I only just got here," she said, gesturing to it. "It seems to be in full swing. Did you taste interesting the other day, or was that just me?"

Alice didn't bother with segues very often. She didn't see the point, really.

"I tasted like s'mores," he said. "So, yeah, I think I tasted pretty good."

"Caramel corn, myself," she said. "Dinah meowed at me strangely for it, but she seemed fond of the taste."

She had to giggle at that. "Not other than Dinah, no," she said. "I thought of going into a common room and starting a tasting party, but by the time I thought of it, it was very late. Were there tasting parties I missed?"

"Not so much a party but a few people did taste me," he said. "It was kind of a thing. People just randomly wanting to lick you and all."

"That I did," she said. "And now I'm wondering if there were toppings added to the random lickings."

This sounded far dirtier than Alice could possibly realize.

Alice laughed, pressing a finger briefly against his lips. "No, I meant chocolate syrup and the like," she said. "My mind is a very strange place."

"Oh!" Well, Hannibal almost blushed that time. "Nope, no toppings. Just me and s'mores. So, I tasted like chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows."
