Sam hadn't intended to come to the library today, since it was the week off from classes. But he'd heard through the grapevine - aka Zoe - that the school had gotten around to hiring a new librarian. So, he was taking it upon himself to make sure everything was as clean and organized as possible, just in case the new guy was a stickler for neatness and order.

Sam laughed. "As much as I'd love to be here every day, I do have classes to go to."

"Ah yes," Peter said, pretending to be Very Serious. "I can see how classes vs. the library would be a difficult choice."

"It's a difficult choice to me," Sam said with a smirk. "I know for you, the choice is which one to spend less time in."

"I find out where you're hanging out and judge accordingly," Peter told him.

"So, if I spent more time in the library, you would too?"

"Let's not get any funny ideas," Peter told him.

"I'm going to get some of my geekiness to rub off on you, just wait," Sam said. "It's bound to happen eventually."

"Again, let's not get any funny ideas," Peter teased.

"We have books on everything. Surely there's got to be some subject you like enough to be willing to read about it."

"Read? Sure. Camp out?" Peter shook his head.

"Hey, I go back to my room at the end of the day, just like a normal person," Sam protested.

"Hate to break it to you, Sam, but you don't do anything like a normal person."

Peter gave Sam a playful glare. "Gee, thanks. I'd take that as an insult if you were anything close to normal."

"Birds of a feather?" Peter tried, looking at Sam cutely.

"I guess that's a good way of putting it," Sam said.

"I try," Peter said. "So do you have a countdown until classes start?"

"Only in my head. It's just a week though. Not too long," Sam said happily.

"So I'm not going to have to keep a butterfly net handy in case you go insane?" Peter asked.

"I'm pretty sure you could take care of me without the net," Sam pointed out.

"Yeah, but props make it fun," Peter said.

Sam gave Peter an amused look. "You worry me just a little bit sometimes, you know that, right?"
