Sam was definitely less than pleased that his clothes hadn't turned back to normal yet. His pants were way too tight and his shirt was way too loose, and he really hoped that no one would mind if he just stayed behind the desk all day.

"It was real homework!" Peter said. He leaned against the front desk. "Anyway, be nice or the grog and the... donut version of pieces of eight come with me."

"If you're nice I'll let you borrow the hat," Peter told him.

"I'm starting to get very disappointed that my clothing shift didn't come with a hat," Sam said. "Although, I'm glad it's not just something that hit my room."

"I meant both Dawn and I have to dress like pirates," Sam said, snickering. "I thought maybe we'd angered some nautical god."

"That's hardly fair," Peter said. "How could you miss?"

"You're right, it's an easy target," Sam said. "If only you had some kind of special power that you could use to keep things away from you."

"What was that?" Peter pretended to put his hand by his ear as though having problems hearing. "Keep the coffee and donuts for myself?"

"I was being helpful," Sam said, giving Peter a sad face. "I was trying to remind you of the advantage you have over me."

"Okay, one of the advantages you have over me," Sam said. "I'll always be taller though, just remember that. At least, I assume I will be."
