"My point is, I don't start out telling people I'm a freak," Sam said.

"You're not a freak," Dean said. "Or at least any more than the rest of us."

"Yeah, I am. But luckily, I can hide it well."

"Seriously, dude," Dean said, looking earnestly at his brother, "you shouldn't think of yourself that way. I don't."

"That's because you like thinking about there being something wrong with me about as much as I do," Sam pointed out.

"That's because there's nothing wrong with you," Dean said stubbornly.

Sam rolled his eyes, knowing that he wasn't going to get anywhere with Dean in this conversation. "Okay, whatever."
