Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part III

Yes, there were more tables and chairs here. No, they were not allowed to be used for making a bonfire. Eat something hot if you're still weirdly cold.

He'd been doing quite well keeping up with Giselle, but that one threw him for a moment. The moment passed and only a blink betrayed the fact that he thought that was a little odd. "I'm afraid Andalasia and Prince Edward aren't known to me. I'm King of Narnia. Well, a King. My two sisters are Queens and my older brother, Peter, is High King. We rule Narnia together."

"Oh, how nice," Giselle enthused. "Do you all get along? Well, you must, of course. I always wanted a brother or a sister. I had Pip, of course, but it's not quite the same."

"We get along most of the time." That was the diplomatic way of saying it. "Who's Pip?"

"He's my best friend," she said. "He's a chipmunk. Are you excited to be here? Were you expecting a school? I was just hoping for a castle to seek shelter in, but then they said they were expecting me to go to school!"

He waited until there was a pause so no more questions would be asked while he was answering. "We have talking chipmunks in Narnia as well. I'm not terribly excited to be here, but open to the possibility of it becoming a good place to be. But yes, I was expecting a school. My brother went here last year, so I know a little of what to expect."
