"You're not the first person that's asked me that," he said and shook his head. "And the answer's no. But my brain's pretty unbreakable. I think it might be a mix of Raisin Bran and Play Doh."

"Curses," she laughed. "I've been foiled. Breaking brains is totally a fun thing to do on new student day."

"But, I'm attractive," he reminded her. "Why would you want to do that to me?"

"Because it's fun?" she tried. Innocently. Totally innocently.

"So are roller coasters," he pointed out.

...

She paused.

"...I don't think I've actually been on one of those before."

Huh.

Hannibal's eyebrows shot up.

"Never..." And he grabbed his chest in fake pain. "I'm...that's just a travesty!"

"Never," she said again, frowning a little now. "What's up with that?"

"I'm just surprised," he said, shaking that off. "They're fun. They go fast and upside down and, you know, it's a thrill ride kinda thing."

"...I've totally got to go on one," she decided.

"You've got a harness and belt holding you into the seat but otherwise, you're free flying," he said.

"Oooooooh," Ino bounced a little. "Now I really want to go on one. I totally love flying."

"I'm sure there's a park in the area," he said. "I mean, this place didn't look like rural farm area with one stop light and barn dances entertainment or anything."

She laughed. "I'll have to get someone to help me locate one. I don't think we've got them in my world, so I wouldn't know what I was looking for."

"They're easy enough to find once you know," Hannibal assured her. "Big place, lots of people, a lot of wasted money and sunburns."

She pondered that. "Maybe I'll talk Michael into going with me... hmmm. He should know what one is."

"I get credit for the tip," he said, smirking.

"You so totally do," she said, with a grin. "What kinda credit we talkin' here?"

"Dunno," Hannibal admitted. "What's a good reward for a good tip?"

...

Dammit. Ino seriously had to stop and consider that. If it wasn't for Michael then her glib answer would've been totally easy--a kiss, come on--but...

What were her and Michael anyway? Did she owe him an explanation?

"Hold that thought," she said instead, with a tilt of her head. "And we'll discuss it after I find out how good a tip it really was."

"Can do," he said, smiling widely. "I'm good at waiting. Come find me when you figure it out."

"I will," she promised. "What room are you in anyway? I'm in 504."

"One floor down," he said. "403. I'll stick a sign up so no one can miss it."

That just got a laugh. "I totally won't forget. My memory is excellent."

"All right, then," he said, smiling. "I'll be around."
