"Good," Jamie said. "Some of the things people will do around here to mess with the new students minds are just deplorable."

Just then another version of Jamie showed up and handed him a drink.

"Grape Judas."

"Thanks," Jamie said and quickly absorbed the dupe and turned back to Hannibal. What was I saying? Oh yeah, don't believe half the stuff people say. Mostly it's to freak you guys out."

"Absorbed," Jamie said without missing a beat. "Seriously though. Don't those guys get to you. The whole thing about gremlins? Never seen a single one."

Another dupe showed up with a plate of food which Jamie took and then absorbed the dupe.

"So when people act crazy and say it's a little monster that did it? They we're probably just drunk," he said taking a bite of an appetizer.
