Dean rolled his eyes. "Dude, just loosen up some. Stop looking like you smell something bad or that the whole island is made up of something you'd rather wipe off your shoe."

"Let's see, I've been here longer than you so I know how this place works," which was the real reason, "I've got friends -- and relatives -- in high places," not something he usually would point out but there was an air about this kid that made Dean add it in, "and I'm just overall a pretty awesome guy."

"Modest too," Chuck added even though he was totally the pot calling the kettle black.

"Look, while I appreciate the advice," He didn't. "I don't plan on staying here long. So it's probably best I don't make too many friends. Wouldn't want any tears and false promises of keeping in touch."

"Yeah, because that's a great way to live," Dean observed. "Look, whatever, knock yourself out. Just be aware there's a lot of people here you wouldn't want to make enemies out of."
