Study Hall -- Thursday, October 6th

Sarah doesn't bother announcing the study hall or the announcements. She is leaning back in her desk chair, chain-smoking cigarettes while she nurses a cup of hot black coffee and occasionally rocks back and forth in the chair. She's wearing dark sunglasses and her hair is a mess. Every once in a while, she stops moving, and it's entirely possible she's napping.

There's a large bowl of marbles on the desk in front of her. If anybody pisses her off or annoys her, she may or may not peg a marble at their head, depending on whether or not she gives enough of a shit.

Wednesday finds a seat not quite in the Principal's direct line of sight and pulls out the student handbook, her Sociology and Psychology texts, and starts making notes.

Rogue wanders in before her class, dressed similarly to yesterday, but her shirt today is dark green. She rubs her head, then finds a desk and starts studying.

*Paige walks in and waves at Draco, she sits nearby and starts looking through a hair magazine for ideas for homecoming tomorrow*

Sydney wanders in and takes a seat, scribbling something into a tiny notebook. She's feeling a bit nauseated at the moment too. She wondered how much longer she could hide her pregnancy from the general populace, not much she suspected since Homecoming was tomorrow.

Phoebe comes in and looks around. She's carrying a folder crammed with paper and wearing a "Vote Phoebe" button. She finds a table and starts writing things down.

"..Okay, I give. What are you doing?" Jake asks, after watching her for a minute, coffee paused half way up to her mouth. She'd spotted Wednesday and walked over to her to see what she was doing. She still has no idea.

"Working on theoretical questions for tonight's debate." Wednesday looked up at Jake gravely. "If I'm going to be given a chance to speak, I want to be certain that I have something to say."

"And for that you need a psych text and a sociology text?" Jake's eyebrows rose. "You're odd." She eyes Wednesday, then asks, "What's your stand on coffee?"

"Everyone needs coffee." Wednesday wrinkled her nose. "I'm not prepared to take an official stand on what should or shouldn't go into it, however, nor am I willing to debate on such things as foam versus cream or espresso versus cappucino."

Jake looked disappointed. "But those are important issues! At least half the student body lives on coffee!"

Wednesday nodded solemly. "They do. But then I would be poaching on the preserve of the candidate for Student Relations. I have to respect the lines between offices." She paused thoughtfully, hand lingering on the Psychology text book. "Besides, wouldn't an issue this important be best brought to the Presidential candidates?"

I am actually meeting with Inara Serra to figure out what I should wear. I wanted to go with something a bit more modern *smiles*

But, if you want colors, I'm probably going to go with something in the pink or red family.

"Ooh, that's right." Jake looked up from Wednesday's face. "I must go ask. Now." She ran off, determination shining off her. She had to make sure she caught Krycek, V and Chloe before they went off to interview their candidates. The coffee issue had to be addressed!
