Luau: The Main Campfire: Friday Evening

The irony of having a Hawaiian luau while in Greece probably hadn't escaped anyone. But given that the majority of the students probably couldn't pinpoint Hawaii on the map, it didn't seem like that was enough of a reason to cancel what had become a summer tradition.

So in the early evening, the main campfire was transformed into a party place with coconuts, grass skirts, and leis for everyone. A pig was slowly roasting over the fire, and a huge ~~moddable~~ buffet spread out to the flagpole.

A dance floor was set up, and Hawaiian music was playing, but there was also plenty of grass spread with blankets for the less-rhythm-inclined.

Dean had a plate and was happily seeing how high he could pile the food, while sneaking a bite here and there.

Isabel ~~felt oddly relieved to see that Dean alive and non-gnawed upon~~ grinned. "Where do you put it all?"

"I'm a growing boy," Dean quipped with a grin.

"I'm just amazed you don't grow this way," she teased, holding her hands in front of her stomach.

"I get way too much exercise for that." This time there was a leer accompanying the comment.

Isabel grinned. "Wrestling's good for that."

"Especially the naked kind."

"Now that's a picture," she told him with a small leer of her own. "A pretty one."

"I like to think so," Dean said modestly.

Isabel laughed. "You're shameless. But the thing of it is? You're absolutely right."

"Great, isn't it?" Dean teased.

"I'm giving thanks every single day," she said solemnly.

Dean grinned at her. "Pineapple?" he offered.

"I'd love some," Isabel replied, stealing a piece from his plate.

G'Kar had thought he was the only one doing the plate pile. He couldn't help but chuckle as he realized he wasn't.

"Perhaps they should offer larger dishes," he mused.

"Probably afraid someone would try and escape with the whole pig if they did," Dean said with a laugh.

"This is quite true. I'm sure all it would take is a few intrepid people to make off with it." Not that he would ever suggest such a thing, oh no.

"But that would spoil the evening for everyone else. Can't have that."

"Yeah, that would be a bummer. What they should do is cook two pigs so there's one left over for everyone else."

G'Kar laughed loudly. "A most excellent solution! You should suggest that for the next party."

"I'll see what I can do. The principal's marrying my Dad so I may have some pull." He paused. "So I'm guessing you're not really from around these parts originally."

"Then congratulations to them," he raised his glass in a small toast. "You could say that," he smirked. "My homeworld is Narn. It is quite far from here."

"And also from a different time."

"There's a lot of that going on here," Dean said. "Well, maybe not so much the different homeworld, though there's that too, but the different time thing? I'd say that applies to more people than not."

"I agree. Though many people seem to be from the past more often than not."

"I am G'Kar."

"Dean Winchester," Dean introduced himself. "Yeah, I fall into the past category myself, though not by all that much."

"So you prove my point," he chuckled. "Pleasure, Dean Winchester."
