Luau: The Main Campfire: Friday Evening

The irony of having a Hawaiian luau while in Greece probably hadn't escaped anyone.  But given that the majority of the students probably couldn't pinpoint Hawaii on the map, it didn't seem like that was enough of a reason to cancel what had become a summer tradition.

So in the early evening, the main campfire was transformed into a party place with coconuts, grass skirts, and leis for everyone.  A pig was slowly roasting over the fire, and a huge moddable buffet spread out to the flagpole.

A dance floor was set up, and Hawaiian music was playing, but there was also plenty of grass spread with blankets for the less-rhythm-inclined.

[OOC:  YAAAAAY LUAU!  Students, teachers, and townies all welcome!]

"My idea of fun is different from humans," Worf replied sharply. "And antagonizing me will not help."

"Pffft. Fun is universal. I bet you're so grumpy because you don't have enough fun."

"That," Worf snapped. "Is a human perception. Not mine."

"Fine, then." Sokka switched tacks. "Are you maybe here to study humans and learn more about human interaction?"

"I was supposed to be attending Starfleet Academy," Worf grumbled. "However I was... redirected."

"Redirected... by someone who wanted you to study humans and human interactions?" Sokka goaded. He was trying to make a point, here. Who cared if it actually applied or not?

"No."

This was accompanied by a very angry glare.

"Oh."

Well, there went that.

"...But if you WERE here to study humans, you'd be able to do it best by acting like us. Just sayin'."

"But I am not," Worf asked. "And I am Klingon. Why should I act otherwise?"

Sokka shrugged. "For the ladies?"

"I told you, humans are too fragile," Worf said scanning the luau again. "Stop trying to push me off on your sister."

Sokka facepalmed. "Why do I even bother?"

"I wonder the same thing."
