Luau: The Main Campfire: Friday Evening

The irony of having a Hawaiian luau while in Greece probably hadn't escaped anyone.  But given that the majority of the students probably couldn't pinpoint Hawaii on the map, it didn't seem like that was enough of a reason to cancel what had become a summer tradition.

So in the early evening, the main campfire was transformed into a party place with coconuts, grass skirts, and leis for everyone.  A pig was slowly roasting over the fire, and a huge moddable buffet spread out to the flagpole. 

A dance floor was set up, and Hawaiian music was playing, but there was also plenty of grass spread with blankets for the less-rhythm-inclined.

"Well maybe there's someone here who'd be worthy of the plan," Ron said with a grin. "Professor Stinson for instance?"

Mac shot him a mischievous smile in return. "This... is a plan that I'm pretty sure could be modified for use against him," she said.

"Only if you're willing of course," Ron said quickly. "You probably don't have anything against the man. No reason to go after him on my account."

"Not like he need ever find out we were involved," Mac said with a shrug. "These things can all be done online... I can cover us on that side. We could get away with it."

"Maybe," Ron said doubtfully. "These type of things usually end up backfiring on me in some way."

"Think on it," Mac told him. "I'm happy to help you out if you want to try it."

"We'll see if he behaves himself," Ron said after a moment, "Granted it's not too likely but..."

"Give him a last chance, just in case?" Mac said with a nod. "That seems... charitable. You never know, he might get brainwashed with niceness tomorrow."

"Not likely," he scoffed. "But in this place you never know."

Ron looked around at the luau a bit. "Did they do this at the beginning of the school year? I got here a bit late for classes."

"Yeah, I think it's a sorta start-of-summer thing," Mac replied. "I'm pretty sure there was one like it this time last year... Probably more than one. They all sorta merge after a while."

"Well it seems like fun," Ron said with a shrug. "I don't suppose you'd like to... um... Dance?"

Mac smiled, and nodded slightly. "I've gotta get to a friends birthday thing later," she said. "But until then, I'd like that."
