Arts & Crafts, Monday [5-12], Period 2

As the campers arrived in the art room, they would find a tall, athletic blond man in a polo shirt and khakis presiding over work stations covered with crafting supplies.

"Good afternoon, everyone," Steve began. "I'm Mr. Rogers--no, not that Mr. Rogers, the other Mr. Rogers--and I'll be in charge of this workshop. We're going to have a lot of fun. Or else." He smiled to show he was joking.

"So, to get started, this week we're going to introduce ourselves, since I'm sure there are some new people here, and then we're going to make gremlins." Unlike last year, Steve knew better now. He just thought the horrified twitching this comment engendered among his students was kind of funny. They weren't real gremlins, after all. "All the necessary supplies and instruction sheets are already on the table, so after introductions you can just get to it. You can work together if you want to, but please remember the glue and paint are for your projects, not each other. I'll be right over here if you need any help or have any questions."

He thought about that and gave her a look. "Maybe, you know, stripper Candi can only come out on special occassions. You know, just for me?"

He waggled his brows but supposed he didn't need his mind going there... right about now.

"My gremlin?" he help up his little paper buddy before he painted it. "I'm naming it Ben."

He winked at her and leaned close so he could brush his lips across her cheek. "I'm going to ship mine to the actual Ben. What are you going to do with yours?"

Savannah leaned into him again, then grinned. "I thought I would send mine to Elena. She'd get a serious kick out of it."

Johnny looked down. He remembered glitter quite fondly.

Oh boy, definitely didn't need to go there with his brain. Yeah, no.
