Applied Inventiontronics, Period 4 - Final

The desks were arranged in a sort of misshapen U around the middle of the room and the chairs were lining the walls. Glitch wasn't at his usual spot behind his desk and was, instead, sitting in a chair off to the side.

On the board, however, were instructions.

Final Exam Instructions!

1. Pick a desk and set up your invention.
2. Take turns demonstrating each invention for your classmates.
3. Ask each other questions about your inventions.
4. Try to not let any malfunctions get too out of hand.
   

Glitch smiled at them from where he was sitting and took out a small notepad. Forget the naming part, this was going to be his new favorite part of inventiontronics.

Sokka wheeled in a small cart that was about half gas-fired grill and half metal monstrosity. There was a hopper on the back with a few unwrapped loaves of Wonder Bread stacked in it, and an open tub of Land O' Lakes sitting in a bucket of ice in the middle. The rest was a complicated mass of gears, levers, pistons, tubes, and other bits.

A big sign on the side identified it as the "TOASTENATOR 9000"

He beamed at the class proudly.

Rikku raised an eyebrow. "I fear your toastenator," she said.

Sokka grinned at her. "Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!"

"Or despairenate," she giggled. "Seriously? All this for toast?"
