Dru's Classroom: the formation of a new club

After his meeting with Grissom, Angelus made his way to Dru's classroom. He smiled. She'd left it for him to open, just as she'd promised.

He opened the door, switched on the lights, searched Dru's supplies for some poster board, then got to work.

It was going to be a long day.

::bites her lip::

Maybe?

[ooc: Ow. You killed me... and SO got fandomquoted on that one.]

Well I might care. But I'm not going to sing about it.

[OOC: Yay!]

::grins::

I'd pay to see that, though. Let me know if you ever change your mind about it.

You'll be the first.

Have you thought of a question to ask the candidates tonight yet?

[identity profile] sogothcally.livejournal.com 2005-10-05 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Huh. Let me think a second.

How about...

We should know the candidates plan for encouraging more interaction and less hostility between the students from different backgrounds, you know? So we can maybe break down all these silly cliques that are forming.

*writes it down*

I've been thinking along similar lines myself. I'm not sure what Professor Cregg has in mind for her own questions and I don't have her class so I don't know if she'll quite this hard-hitting.

But someone should be.

[identity profile] sogothcally.livejournal.com 2005-10-05 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Hard-hitting? I just think it's important... I mean, I seem to fit in well enough, cause the colonies weren't all that different, but... well, it bothers me when people get singled out as being different, that's all.

Oh, I'm sure you're right. Where I come from politicians and people in power have a habit of shying away from important debates and ignoring problems until it gets so bad that, like, a quarter of the Republic has seceded until they explode.

That's politics for you. ::sigh:: I'm just here to keep my mind off other things, that's all.

Though escaping one set of drama for another doesn't really help, I think. ::laugh::
