Dru's Classroom: the formation of a new club

After his meeting with Grissom, Angelus made his way to Dru's classroom. He smiled. She'd left it for him to open, just as she'd promised.

He opened the door, switched on the lights, searched Dru's supplies for some poster board, then got to work.

It was going to be a long day.

"Yes. I have no idea how that plays now, though. There's been no discussion of 'independent candidates'." Beka remembered her conversation at the bar last night. "Oh. Something you may be interested in, not entirely related. Phoebe wants it clear that she did not approve the smear against Belthazor. Neither did I."

"Didn't think you did," Angelus assured her. "Okay, if you're in tonight's debate then you can't help Anakin because he's collecting questions. But you can do publicity. Get out there, tell students about tomorrow night, convince them to come and convince the candidates to be there."

"Done and done. I assume I can use whatever rhetoric I like to get them to come?"

"As yourself, yeah," Angelus said. "Officially this is actually a club... not that I've thought of a name for it yet. But officially we've got to be non-partisan, unbiased, yadda yadda. However that means that officially you can't belong to this club because you're one of the candidates. So as a candidate you can say whatever the heck you like. Tell them there's free blowjobs out of it if you want to."

"Officially, I was never here. I dropped by to tell you I thought this was an excellent idea and I'd be telling people to be at the debate."
