Dru's Classroom: the formation of a new club

After his meeting with Grissom, Angelus made his way to Dru's classroom. He smiled. She'd left it for him to open, just as she'd promised.

He opened the door, switched on the lights, searched Dru's supplies for some poster board, then got to work.

It was going to be a long day.

Anakin popped his head into the classroom. "Saw your poster coming out of Goverments class. Point me where you need me."

"Glad you're here," Angelus said. "We need a hand with everything. Don't suppose you've got a specialty?"

"You need a hand coming up with coming up with questions to ask candidates? I've made it kind of a hobby to make politicians' lives difficult."

"Two days ago I would not have anticipated sharing that hobby with you," Angelus admitted. "Now... I was going to joke about starting a club but actually I just did that.

"Yeah, questions to ask candidates. Plus eagle eyes tonight. I don't want the event tomorrow night to be a poor rehash of whatever happens in the official debate. Mind you, I don't want tonight's debate to be useless either. We're going to need hard hitting questions and then people in the audience smart enough to know when the candidates aren't giving good answers. Can I put you in charge of all that?"

"Sure." Anakin sat down. "Do we know what the set-up is going to be tonight? Free-for-all, writing questions in advance and Professor Cregg choosing the ones she likes best? [OOC: comments everywhere, OMG?]" He shrugged. "Regardless, I'll keep track of what hasn't been asked tonight so we can get those answers tomorrow."

"You want me to set up a separate comment thread table in here for people to submit questions here? We can go through them to find ones that will yield the most information on how candidates feel on issues we think will be important."

"It's like you're reading my mind," Angelus said. "Yes. To everything. I'll help out with what questions I can when I'm not busy herding all these cats. There's a table over there you can use." He gave Anakin a slap on the back. "Glad you're here, big guy."
