Driver's Ed [Period Four, Wednesday]

The Danger Shop was set up to look like a wide, flat field, with the occasional mound of dirt dotted around, it eventually led onto a series of dunes, which in turn led to a lake with jetties on the near and far banks, next to the far jetty was an ice-rink. Seriously.

Bond eyed his class for slightly longer than usual, taking in the differences in some of the students, before beginning.

"Today's class involves driving vehicles other than cars," he said, gesturing at the course. "You'll be driving four types of vehicles through the four parts of the track shown here. There are some differences in the steering between each of these vehicles, but if you've been paying attention in class you should have few enough problems and arrive at the end of the track in a timely fashion."

"Well, go on now."

At the start of the course stood a group of wee tiny bulldozers.

Yes, Bond expected them to drive them.

Lee jumped into a bulldozer, hit the gas and...waited.

Damn, these things were slow.

"Oh, come the frak on and go," he groused, stomping on the gas a few times.

Sure, Sulley's legs were dangling a little too close to the tracks, but he was excited to give it a try anyway. The little engine tried its best to lug along a big furry monster.

Anyone near Sam while he was on his bulldozer might have heard him making quiet engine noises. He had to do something to make the sad thing seem more powerful.

Dōjima hopped in the bulldozer, grinning. This was hysterical.

"Hey, Bond-sensei, aren't we supposed to wear hard-hats while driving these things?"

Hee! Robin hopped on the bulldozer. The vibrations of the engine almost shook him off.

Jenny hopped onto a bulldozer. "You have got to be sodding kidding me," she muttered when she realized how piddling their top speed was. "Come on, go faster! Some of us have places to be!"

Jack was thoroughly enjoying the weetiny bulldozers, and managed to complete the world's slowest donut at the end.
